Woweeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Have we seen Boo before?! She's BEAUTIFUL! x)x)x)drooldrool

I think I have posted a couple of other pictures, but Boo was only 10 weeks old or so at the time so she didn't have such a fabulous coat! Willow's hair is really difficult to tame, but I'm okay with that, it's quite coarse and it doesn't curl so much it just goes in all directions! :))

Your Willow and my Willow(RIP) are complete opposites! My Willow was hairless and your Willow is very hairy! :)) Love the pictures! x)

Wow! It's like me without straighteners :)) But they pull it off much better. Gorgeous piggies!

I've never been a real fan of long hairs (no offence lil pigs!) but these guys are gorgeous, i love there colours too :')

To be honest I think my favourite breed is either the Swiss or the Rex, you get the nice textured hair without it being a nightmare to keep in good condition. I think I like texture over length for the most part tee hee. My dream piggy would be a silver agouti Rex, maybe one day!

Boo and Willow are actually ex show stock, I don't show them obviously, this is just a pet home. Willow apparently had quite a few titles not that I could tell you quite what! The person I got them off said they just realised longhair piggies were too much and she got rid of them all, so I can understand why they'd not be attractive to all!

I love them, that half and half face is a gem, what I'd give to stroke them. Reminds me a bit of a Wombat that I held on my lap in Australia. x)x)

I absolutely x) Curly haired piggies and would have a house full - only problem is that they are hard work to keep looking nice. My texel girl Tulisa is my only curly haired girl - and boy does she take some grooming - her curls are so tight around her side and back end that i first have to use a soft brush and then finish off with a wide toothed comb - whole process takes around 30 mins and she looks like a ball of fluff afterwards :)

Here is her about 2months ago (she'd be around 6 months old here):

And this is her now (she's around 8months old) - please excuse the poor lighting, it was wayyy too cold for me to take her outside for a photoshoot mallethead - this is pre-grooming, her hair 'puffs' out once she's brushed drool

What lovely curls, Sodapops, Tulisa is very beautiful! I wish Willow's hair curled more, but nope! It curls more after a bath and then goes back to being crazy! Boo is about 6 months old, infact I think tomorrow is her 6 month birthday and Willow is about 1 year 4 months. I don't have a specific DOB for her so just estimating.

Shalom, I do wonder quite how Boo's amazing half and half face happened. It's just so symmetrical. :))

I don't know how you manage with two curly haired beauties x)x) Tulisa's hair goes 'frizzy' when it's brushed and literally expands outwards by a few inches :))

Your girls are gorgeous drooldrool Ive also got a swiss girl (ex-show) along with a coronet, 2 x peruvians, a sheltie (can you tell i love long haired piggies?) - i'd love a Lunkarya, although i don't think i could handle another curly haired piggie, my lot take up enough time with brushing, washing and haircuts

Ohh snap I too have 1 swiss and 5 aby x peruvians. No more! I'd get another swiss quite happily because the hair on Ed really doesn't tangle at all plus baths seem to make swiss skin dry so he only has them if completely necessary. I don't think the maintenance on swiss is really too bad. I also have 3 rex and two just smooth short hairs but again they're not really much work on the grooming side at all. I do have quite a soft spot for rex piggies aswell, they have great personalities.

This is Godzilla (ha ha ha, he's about 5 months old too but such a lead weight) -

I have a lot of very old piggies (7-8 years) and a lot of very new ones (5-6 months or 1-2 years but rescued recently). I decided a few years ago not to get any more piggies, just stick with a small number and I was down to about 7 and then I became quite intrigued by all the more 'exotic' breeds. Or atleast exotic to me and I pretty much accumulated 7 more since the Spring. I don't think I would have wanted to be piggy-less and I lost one of my older pigs not so long ago and I guess it's only natural that their age will catch up with them, but they are all remarkable!

I know someone who has a few Lunkarya but she mostly trims their hair quite short which sort of defeats the point! But with their full coats they are totally gorgeous. Maybe we will have to pignap one each!

Wasn't Ed from Walsall RSPCA? we NEED pigtures drooldrool (and not just of Ed - we need to see all of your piggies - Godzilla is gorgeous x) )

I'd Love a Lunkarya, but i find my texel girl enough work with her hair :{

I love looking at pictures of other peoples piggies - i can drool over them without all the hard work in looking after them :)) I wish i had more room in my home for more (10 is my limit at the moment) - maybe i could kick the kids out (that would give me another 2 rooms to fill with piggies)

x)x) just popped back to this thread only to find even more gorgeous piggies! Swooooon! drooldrool

Yes I am proud owner of the Ed! I recently posted some pigtures of him here - http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=79545. You can see his hair when I first got him and his hair now, it's grown SO much!

I'm with you on the space thing, I recently got a couple of 8ft monster hutches and I genuinely can't fit anything else in and I don't want more piggies because it'd then take away from the fact I've gone to so much trouble to give them lots of room to run around.

My texel girl Tulisa
Oh, wow, her hair looks just like Redemption's but curlier; I guess he really is a Texel, or a cross at the very least. He doesn't have tight curls, tho, but he does have curls. In this picture I had brushed them all out. I tend to keep him trimmed shorter so he will stay cleaner.

Ohhhhhh wowie! What loverly hair (and i thought Percy-roos was a nightmare!)

Why aren't the picccs working for me?!?! Must try again later.. I'm sure they are stunning though!
