ok so we tried bonding jasper with bradders but unfortunatly the kept fighting lots,
so we thought we would try him with marble who usually starts the fights and look what happened.

they seem to love each other its great & hope it lasts, they are eating veggies together at the moment.

Oh thats brilliant, I'm thrilled for Jasper! He looks like he has settled in, I was concerned he would go a little withdrawn as he was only just coming out of his shell with me but looks like he is ok! Brilliant, I'm thrilled! :smitten:
 
me to we wasnt sure wat to do wen him and bradders kept fighting bradders took a little chunk out of poor jaspers ear but he is fine now, and i have never seen marble so happy, we thought he didnt like other piggies but obviously he took a liking to jasper, althouth he is mounting him alot, hope this is normal? :)
 
The mouting and rumbling can last a while. Pudsey done it to Eccles for a whole week, but they soon settled down. Sounds like you've found a good partnership. I believe there is a pig for everyone even Mr Twinkle!

Peter is pleased that Jasper is settled and found a friend, has Jasper been wheeking?
 
nope but i keep hearing litte noises going between one another its so cute i just wish i understood what they are saying. marble has a little teeth chatter once in a while but he has only done it twice in 6 hours so thats great for marble, i just hope they get on for good and not just the time being.x
 
Teeth chattering is ok within reason, you'll know if he is going to fly at Jasper he'll look all puffed up...lol Fleur teeth chatted at the babes, it was her way of saying I'm the boss around here. Sunshine does it to me when I'm late feeding him, I'm his slave!

You've done great so far, they'll be fine. So many people freak out at the slightest noise, I was like that too. Obviously if they fight then seperate. How old is Marble? He is lovely! :smitten:
 
he is about a week older than bradders so about 4-5 months, well he teeth chattered but walked out of the house at the sametime so not heading towards jasper,they are both cuddled up at the moment in there house i think all the excitment from today has tired them out. ;D
 
Sounds as if that they are fine, if anything bad was going to happen maybe it would have done so by now. ;D
 
thats wat I'm hoping it happened almost straight away wen we put bradders in there.
anyway off to bed now gotta get up for work in the morning. :(

Helen have you tried putting it on before you put the lid on? I have problems with the Nero 3 houses if I put the lid on first then I can't get it to fit right. ::)

hehe they look so happy. got up this morning and they were still cuddled together so all good news so far i cant believe it.

oh louise jasper let us cut his nails tonight so there nice and short now.xx O0
 
Brilliant Trudy! Had visions of you saying they fell out!...lol so pleased it looks like it has worked out well! Sounds like they have the same relationship as Pudsey and Eccles.

Glad Jasper let you trim his nails, he is so laid back. Is he ok letting you hold him? He was a bit nervy here probably with all the noise from Caitlin! ::) ;D x
 
hes ok he gets abit skittish wen you pick him up but other than that hes fine.
jasper and marble look so lovely together and happy, i hope it lasts, do you think they will be ok if we put the cage back in with the other piggies? :)
 
They should be fine, they sound so loved up they probably wouldn't notice. :)
 
i hope so its so funny marble shuffles his bum then runs round jasper. lol then i think jasper goes abit dizzy, ;D
but iv never seen marble popcarn so much ad jasper has started wheeking today :) :)
