Please drop some wild flowers and weeds I can pick for my guinea pigs and dry I've been collecting and drying nettles for the past 2 weeks and drying it my very fussy boy rico is loving it no store bought dried forage is good enough but he is loving when I pick and dry nettles and mint please leave some other plants that are safe for me to dry and feed the boys. Just because dried forage lasts longer and they really enjoy it as there bed time meal sprinkled over some pellets

My piggies love fresh and dried forage, I love walking around the country lanes finding different wild grasses, flowers and Herbage and it only costs a bit of time

Hello, there’s an amazing thread on here will try find it that lists lots of weeds & wild plants etc all safe for piggies x

I picked some hawthorn and cow parsley today for my piggies. The hawthorn went down a real treat, they gobbled it up quick smart! You can always add in some dandelion leaves, although not too many as they’re high in calcium. Another good one is blackberry leaves. I gave my piggies nettles but not entirely sure if they liked them. I think they eventually ate them.

Oh I didn’t know the dandelion leaves had high calcium! I will cut down on those for my pigs when they are out grazing x
