Well, I have to say they are not fosters anymore! They are my babies now! I completely and utterly failed at fostering which makes me sad, in one hand, as I really wanted to be able to and help more piggies but very happy these girlies are not going anywhere. I completely trust Sarah from Hazelcroft and know she would have found a fab home for them but the thought of letting them go was tearing me.

They are to join Piggy Boy and Lola, that is if they ever get on. I tried a few bonding sessions but when one is fine with Piggy Boy advances the other isn't and vice-versa. They are living side by side :)

I took these today and decided to do a quirky edit :)

I also have a few cute videos, if I figure how to post them I will!

Welcome to the FF Club (failed fosterers club)! I can't blame you; that is a gorgeous and VERY lucky bunch!

What beautiful guinea pigs! Do not feel you have failed as you have given them a loving home.

Ha ha am another failed fosterer too (Buzz and Woody), so glad these girls are staying.

Wow those photos are fab! Helps when the models are super cute piggies of course :D I could never foster - theres no way I could let someone else take them afterwards!

Congratulations, I couldn't have gave them up also. Little stunning piggles

Have you named them yet?

i have fostered a dog before and it was hard giving him up.Had a few piggies overnight and didnt want to let them go

As a failed fosterer myself, I have found it difficult to let go of/return the many foster piggies that have temporary residence here at Dindy Towers. We have now come to a fairly workable solution. We have our own 9 piggies in 3 C&C pens taking up a third of the remaining living room floor. With that in mind, we are able to foster up to 3 piggies at a time in an extra C&C pen for a month and then have a month off etc. This is an arrangement we have with Cavy Corner to allow some of their long term residents a chance to 'stretch their legs' so to speak as all piggies at Dindy Towers have lot's of floor time. We also foster any overnight piggy trains that crop up and of course any emergency fostering request are always addressed. We also have a lifelong foster called Caron, she is as much a member of the troupe as Tufty, Lucy, Patty and Holly but will forever belong to her mum @Wiebke.
So it is still possible to foster piggies successfully Suzy, with the occasional fail. After all, that's what it's all about.
:))

They are absolutely gorgeous and I don't think I would have been able to let them go either.

Thank you everyone, makes me feel a bit more normal

@Dindypig Thank you for your words, I agree it's not impossible but I think I'll take some time until I do it again. I don't mind the one or two nighted due to transport.

@sport_billy I am keeping their old names. The himi is Edith and the abby is Clementine  I already shortened it to Clemmie, eheh.
