As I won't be able to have a guinea pig full time, I was wondering if I could foster and Try and find them good, permenant homes. I don't know what my mum thinks about this. I just wanted to see what you thought of it?
I think it would help the rescues a lot if they didn't have enough room.

Thank you!

Piggies

If your mum won't let you have a pig of your own then I doubt she will let you foster any either. :-\

I agree Louise, foster piggies may take a long time to rehome. I can't see your mum agreeing. :-\

Pigs also often come into rescues needing a lot of health care, i think its best you have some experience with pigs and their care and maybe have a bit of experience with sick pigs before you foster any x

Hi when i got Murphy my foster pig who is now mine as i could not bare to let anyone else have him :smitten:, came he was ill and i had to syringe feed him for five days. It was such hard work but well worth it seeing him get better again. I'm not sure fostering would be the way to go as like has already been said quite often they can be poorly.

I'm sure your Mum will come round in time and let you have some of your own. Just hold tight :)
