Hi,

When i was going to feed my own guinea pigs i heard some squeaking coming from somewhere else in my garden. So i looked there then i saw a gingery rossetted guinea pig (boy). :smitten: My dad was with me so therefore between us we caught him easily. :) Also around my street have been some posters with missing guinea pigs and there descriptions on i think that the piggie i found matches one of them! ;D So i went round to see them but they were not in so i will try again later. I have put him in a carrier with hay and newspaper in for the moment. I have not taken any pictures of him because this guinea pig is not mine so therefore its not me who should be taking the pictures if you get what i mean.

Will update you later and sorry about the piccies,

Sarah

Well done Sarah :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
Good on you and your dad for rescuing this little guy O0 O0
I hope he finds his family again, but i do hope they can then keep him locked up properly again... little escapee ;D ;D ;D

Thank you!

....and he is very lucky we found him as we have foxes in our garden!

That's one lucky pig! Fingers crossed you can match him with his family! :smitten:

Lucky piggy, hope he gets reunited with his humans soon. :smitten: :smitten:
Well done O0

knocked on the door again earlier they were in! YAY! They put him in his hutch looks nice! and they have fixed it up so it is more secure! They are nice owners!

Thank you for your support everyone!

Sarah

Aw, he's so lucky to have landed in your garden! I bet he enjoyed his little adventure but will be so happy to be back with his family. It was his lucky day! :smitten:

wow, did they loose more than just him then ? haha funny how guineas search out their own kind, he must have heard yours squeaking and followed it

thats what i thought starla. Yes they lost two but unfortunalty no sign of the other one  :( But at least they got one back. I am keeping the look out though and have had a scout around the garden for him.

Thank you for your comments its really nice of you to say that your glad he came into my back garden! :smitten:

One lucky piggy and one relieved owner!
Thanks for taking care of the little guy for a while and handing him back.

I often have our neighbours bunny in our garden. Their first bunny always came through the broken back fence because we had grass and they didn't. Now this new bunny - a black one - he is just a digger and he escapes out of his run every day. He comes over to my place because of our two bunnies and some hay on the floor.
I caught this one so many times, last time at 11 pm with a torch and a towel. I had a talk to the neighbour and offered my services in securing the hutch better then they had. I'm glad to say his escapes are now foiled as we put a secure base on the hutch.

That is wonderful you found him and reunited him with his owners!

I do hope the other one is safe :-\

good for you sarah and your dad for catching him and returning him to his people :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: sending hugs and good vibes for the other one they have lost O0 luckily he went into the right garden and marita loved the bunny story, one unhappy bunny now :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: glad one piggy had a happy homecoming :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

thats good marita that the bunny is now secured! the one thing i always do now is check the hutches or runs are secure about 3 times than i still worry they are undone! Thats me for you!

Aww lovely that the piggie was returned, I hope the other 2 show up :smitten:

When I moved into my place in Truro last August a similar thing happened to me. It was my first night there, twilight time, and I looked out the front to a bit of grass across the close and there was a guinea munching. I went out to grab him and tried at the nearest house to where I found him. It was his. He was called Patch. His daddy was so relieved to have him safe, said he must have escaped from his run.

good to hear another piggy is re united! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
