It does look very green... How big is the bag and how much just out of interest?

2kg and its £7.50. Cheaper online i bet.

I cant afford this all the time, but i got it as a treat. It is fairly tightly packed
I always used to buy the one from B&M but after several bad smelling ones I switched to Pets at Home one - smells so much nicer and I think it was £3.99 for a HUGE bag! I mix some Excel in as thats expensive too! x

I just picked up a b and m one aswell. Its looking at it best this month. You should have another look. Normally if its lighter green its dryer for some reason. Thinking about it, grass does start off dark green and things get lighter as they dry in the sun.

The range sell a good and cheap timothy, similar looking to b and m at their best. But its a bit of a drive across town for me

I use Burgess Excel, my boys like it but it’s quite expensive
I used to, but yea...expensive, i dont see good quality burgess in my area. Their gerbil food was spot on, but i dont see that anymore, they kept sending my local petshop short dated food

I’ve been looking into getting another brand (maybe to just add to it or to replace it) because it used to last two months and it seems to only be lasting then one month now

We get this! On Amazon subscribe and save, its cheaper. Piggies love it. Very green and very soft for timothy and not too stalky so not much gets wasted. Downside is its fairly dusty, especially near the bottom of the bag.
I reckon this is my pigs favourite hay, if they were writing hay reviews!

Might have a look then when I next go in - which will be soon... it's just had a horrible smell recently... got sick of having to return it! Even the girl behind the counter said ' God that STINKS '😂😂😂

I just noticed how dusty it is, at the bottom. But it doesnt bother my two.

We get 4 bags of this a month, it was £5.79 per bag on Amazon subscribe and save. And 3 bags of Pillow Wad meadow hay.
And now we get 5kg of meadow and 5kg of timothy per month from HayBoxClub too.
Can never have too much hay!
So that's almost 30kg of hay a month we buy, but I can make one 1.5kg bag of pellets last a month for 8 piggies, on account of all the hay :)

We go through three bags of Burgess hay a month, and pellets last ages though I couldn’t say exactly how long, that’s only two boys though
