Found in my hay

Hi y’all - I just opened another box of 2nd Cut Timothy Hay from Small Pet Select and found a bunch of these in there. I’ve looked around on the internet and cant seem to find what they are. Does anyone here know? I’ve never seen them in the hay before (or at least seen enough of them to notice)

Wonderful I’m glad they are safe for piggies! More work for me tho - they seem to get stuck to the fleece quite a bit

Yes, they have little hasps that are meant to stick in the soil and germinate into new plants. You are luckily, oat hay is quite expensive x
