Senior Guinea Pig
This morning I awoke to a sowwy looking Fred. I decided I'd get him some treats, so we got Parsley and Coriander along with his other veggies.
It's amazing, how you realise just how much these little guys mean to you. It breaks your heart when they need you but yet when they stop needing you it makes you smile.
How often have you caught yourself just thinking about something they did and smiling, I must say I would never have imagined myself being so hooked on an animal but I just adore them.
Mummy, my mouth is sore.
Look at me, I can eat!
Amazing what some Coriander can do!
Thank you Everyone for the healing Vibes and Thank You Mummy for being such a vigilant owner. I know I'm in the best hands!
I could swear he's smiling because he can eat again!
I always question if Guinea Pigs, hide illness well but I have realised they really do. Fred became more active but yet he was struggling to eat. When I weighed him I immediately noticed the weightloss, and clicked something was a miss. Then I noticed the chewing problems, but had the weightloss not alerted me I may have not noticed. Fred was spending more time in his house, thinking back now this is odd behaviour but just goes to show how slight the changes are.
I'm glad my beautiful boy, can eat again! The vet said we caught it nice and early! xx>>>
