Free range time and bath question

Hi everyone not sure is this is the right place :{
We brought our 3 month old rex boars home on friday left them to settle in abit then had them out for free range time thursday night, they had a great time tearing around the place chasing eachother and coming up to me for a sniff every now and then but when i had them out this morning they just stood at their cage biting the bars ?/ should i lift their cage or just leave it and see if they stop on their own? I was planning on having them out for 30 minute sessions twice daily....is that going to be enough for them?
Also because they're always clambering on one another their white bits are less than white and I'd like to give them a bath will probably wait until they're fully settled as i dont fancy gatting scratched up more than I already am :)) but where do i start will it be easier in a bowl or in a sink and what do I use as shampoo is there guinea pig shampoo ?/ These may seem like silly questions but forgive me I'm a guinea pig novice :)

Hi there is a great website http://www.gorgeousguineas.com/ which does shampoos for guinea pigs. I bathed mine yesterday in the kitchen sink but have used the bath before. I find the sink easier as I'm not bending over and they don't try to jump out as much.
Put a towel in the bottom so they don't slip, water warm (check it's not too hot) and not too deep, just enough to cover their feet and get their underside wet but not so that they have to tread water! I put a towel on the draining board as well and use a little plastic cup to rinse the shampoo off. It's easier if you do one at a time and have someone to help you. Don't get their eyes and nose wet and just use the foam from the shampoo on their face. Once they've been shampooed and rinsed off towel dry them and then use a hairdryer to make sure they're completely dry before you put them back in their house. Keep your hand between them and the hairdryer so they don't get burnt, it's easier if someone else holds them or else you find yourself needing 3 hands!
There you go, clean piggies!
Oh and be prepared to get wet! Stripes loves it and lies down in the water being pampered, Spike hates the water and has to keep his front paws on my arm at all times! I often have to hold him while leaning over the sink and pour water over him so we both get wet!
