Hi there

Just wondered if anyone could give me any advice or tips on how to catch my pigs with the least fuss after supervised free range time in the garden? Thanks

Getting them used to being herded into a carrier is the best way as it minimises chasing but if they free ranging in a larger space then it isn’t going to be as easy. I would perhaps use some wire panels or something to walk towards them to enclose their space and then direct them into a carrier.

Can try a tunnel piggies live tunnels.

Then close each end with your hands

You’ve got some good ideas above, especially getting them used to going into and out of a carrier. I just wanted to say it’s a little too cool nowadays for them to be outside, especially with the recent rain as well.

How have you got on with the supervised free range time? I tried it with mine a few times (they loved it) but after a while I just got too nervous. We don't have any birds of prey generally around the area but I did notice some magpies used to sit on the roof (the pigs were making so much noise) so I didn't do it again but I don't think they'd be able to pick them up. Would love for them to do it again without the stress of birds.
