Post the companies that have sent you free samples here! Because everyone likes a freebie!

(Could someone make this a sticky please? It could make owning piggies a bit cheaper anyway!)

POST POST POST!

some of the e mail bulletins you receive have links to free things on them, the money thing with martyn lewis usually has a fair few,but they get snapped up quickly.

Science Selective do free samples, I got them really quickly too.
I applied for some free samples from Burgess months ago. I was told they had been sent but I haven't received them yet. :(

Some companies do have a samples request page - but most dont, I'm not sure why but most companies dont like to openly offer free samples, so the best thing to do is send them an email basically saying you've got a fussy piggie and you'd like to try them with a sample of their food before you commit to a full sized bag - this works for most companies

ok thanks! I might try this with some companies. I heard that hay4pets/hayexperts (don't which one!) send free examples?

i just had a quick check - the hay experts charge £4.99 for a sample pack and hayforpets charge £3.50 shipping for a sample pack of their hays

Nearly Free! I made an order from thehayexperts.co.uk - I got a whole manner of hay and grasses and they gave me some extra treats to say thanks for trying them out - it was a little bag with 3 herb crunchy roller things. They smell a little like fennel. The message was a preprinted sticker so it looks like it might be their company policy.

Probably not worth spending a whole lots of cash just to get the freebie but if you're thinking of trying some new hay these guys might be worth a look in.

They've had a site revamp and so i think they are giving away a little treat with every order for the next couple of weeks (while stocks last) - good if you are going to place an order with them - i dont shop there, so would be of no use to me unfortunately - but a nice little freebie nonetheless :)

absolutely. My two girls were a bit confused by the little herb balls.. Kind of. WOW! urrr.. what is it. I reckon they'll nibble is a bit and then wee on it and ditch it.. as is there usual way of 'unclaiming' things. Dont want it.. pee on it! haha..

But to be honest they did smell rather good! even for me.. but I like fennel/aniseed! If they don't use them then I might end up re-gifting.. along with a bag of crazy dried fruit I got from a naturals selection at PAH. Looks nice but the guineas arent interested unless in anything dried unless its hay or nuggets!

lol sounds the same as my lot - only they dont just do it with things they are un-interested in, whenever i put in a nice clean bed they have a routine: sniff, jump in, pee, poop, walk away and pretend it's not them that has just soiled the new sleeping house :... mallethead

it's just so rude! :P I even got the girls a snugloo thing.. they don't use it at all except to climb on and look *extra* desperate at feeding times.. "look at me struggle!".. kind of way. I don't know whether to ditch it a free up space. But this is off topic.. unless I do ditch the snugloo. Then it is free!
