Which piggie breed is the friendliest in your opinion?

I personally find Abyssinians the friendliest. My old aby, Scruff, was extremely friendly when she grew older. She would often come over to me and was always curious about humans in general! My current aby, Perky, is honestly the friendliest piggy I have ever known. She literally asks for cuddles. If I come over to the cage she'll look up at me until I stroke her head and when I stop she'll look up again. I feel very guilty when I have to leave the room!

I don't really have enough experience of different breeds to say, I've mostly had mongrels! But my lunky girl is the soppiest, loveliest and yet bossiest guin I've ever had.
I've heard teddies are supposed to be laid back and friendly, but I have two swiss guins who have taken the longest out of all the guins I've had to get used to us!

Our short haired girl Cookie is the friendliest piggy we have ever had. She loves fuss, will come over to you and adores chin rubs. Both her and her sister Treacle have always been the most friendliest. Putt our first Aby girl was really close to us after four years :)) and she has still been our only lap piggy though.

I think that generally, Teddy's, Rex's & Abi's are the friendliest in that order :) x

My two silkie crosses have probably been the friendliest pigs I've had, in the sense that they were very relaxed, were happy to flop on your lap for hours, and Hadley in particular is very people-oriented- she makes the rounds of the couch to make sure she 'visits' everyone, looks for people if they get up and leave, doesn't care if anyone stick their hand in the cage to pat her, etc. My short-haired and aby pigs were more cautious. But I think there is probably a lot of individual variation within breeds.

My bumble is an Abby and he and Nuggets (who was a ridgeback) were the friendliest.

I totally agree with Stewybus lol :D We've had 2 Abys & they have both been real characters, cheeky, curious, friendly & loving but the Rex piggies we have had have been far the most relaxed & friendly of them all :)

I think it depends more on the piggie really.

My teddy Matthew was the friendliest sweetest little guy ever but also happy enough to kick you if you were in his way. :)) He loved affection and attention and would always listen to your voice.

My aby Ludwig was also a very sweet piggie and would run to you and loved to explore. He wasn't much for strokes unless it was on the face/head but he was a complete and utter mummas boy.

Romano my coronet, it took him quite a few years to learn to trust me but now he does he has complete faith and will let me do anything with him. He learnt to love strokes from Matthew.

And my ridgeback Gilbert was similar to Romano, it took him a year to trust me but once he did I had it forever and he would literally allow me to place him anyway and stick his foot out for nail trimming.

In contrast, I've had another aby, Sakurai who is the most timid little girl I have had, but I think her cagemate is what makes her so jumpy and paranoid. She was starting to trust me and become brave until I paired the two. Ryou is a boisterous, brave guy but hates being touched and freaks out completely which scares her. He's a smooth coated piggie.
