Can I give my boys fresh pineapple?

Hello, you can, but I would probably give it as a treat in very small amounts/frequencies (less than 1-2x per week) because it's a little too sour for the pigs! They can get sores on their lips just like if you give them other acidic fruits like oranges. Here's a good list of what they can and cannot have! Ok ty so much. I thought it may be to acidic. I think I'll pass. I'll stick with apples or blueberries once every two weeks. I did get snap peas and they love them! Thought about brussel sprouts but didnt want a gassy piggie lol

Yeah it's better to err on the side of caution, I love pineapple myself..but too much is agony on the mouth for me after two slices..oof..we have a bit of a gassy piggy..we tried them with a bit of tenderstem broccoli..just the flower part..no ill effects, luckily..yeah sugar snap peas, and a bit of babycorn are good treats..doesn't seem to produce ill effects on our lot, but every piggy is different

If you want to try other fruit (bearing in mind fruit should be a treat, of course) then my boys also enjoyed banana, seedless grapes, melon and blackberries. Did try them with strawberries and they were mostly ignored hah.
