Hi all

I am new to this forum and am in a bit of a panic! I have 2 guinea pigs Fudge and Oreo who are about 5 weeks old. Oreo is on the above eye drops and I am worried that he may have ingested a bit as he kept closing his eye as I tried to put the ointment on the eye surface, he rubbed his face and moved his front paws near his mouth. I am really worried and it does not help that we lost a guinea pig 4 weeks ago after having him (cookie) only 3 weeks. We got him from Pets at Home hence adopting Fudge and Oreo from a rescue centre on Saturday. Please help x
 
Sorry I'm really not sure what effect the drops would have, if any, but just wanted to say that you'll probably get quicker/more replies if you ask in the "Health & Illness" section as it's busier there (and strictly speaking that's the most appropriate place to post this type of specific question).

With anything, if you're really worried then you could ring an emergency Vet for advice. Otherwise perhaps try texting/emailing the rescue centre you rehomed from, in case they have someone up late and able to advise.
