Just curious I have my piggies making odd noises.
It's a like low level purring with abit of squeaky thrown in. But I see one of my pigs changing his stance on his rear legs. Then they chase each other abit.

I'm certain there not fighting. But wondering if its play noises or something

Sounds like a dominance chase, nothing to worry about they’re just sorting out the heirarchy, it’s inprotant for pigs to do this but just make sure it doesn’t turn into a fight. Signs of a fight starting would be teeth. Chattering and chin offs

Hmm. We have a blonde that was doing the chasing. Now the smaller black one is doing the chasing now.

Yea but there hasn't been any teeth chattering or fighting

The purring wiggle dance is called rumblestrutting; you have to get used to seeing a lot of it as it is typical boar behaviour! Right now it is still fun for the boys play measuring up to each other and playing at big boys.

Sows do it too. Betsy used to do the sexy bum wiggle when she had a strong season. As she's got older she's stopped doing it and now is just in a foul mood whenever she has a season.
Yea sometimes i have to put up with dot and the wife at the same time, i dont stand a chance

It doesn't bother me. Was curious as to what it was. Its cute to watch
