Fur Changing Colour

Hiya everyone,

Thought i would show you something a bit weird.

My guinea pig is 2 and a half, and all of a sudden her face is getting darker! Have a look, is this normal? image.webp Then

I've seen that before on here with another owner asking the same question. Her guinea pig in question was a ginger piggie and slowly turned to a more brown shade of piggie.

No idea why it happens other than age possibly.
 
I have no idea why except it may be age related. Dogs and cats hair colour change with age so this may be the case with the odd piggie. However i do believe that the himilayan types will change slight colour depending on time of year.

My reg is coming up 4 and his black back has started to go grey
