IMG_0183.webp IMG_0187.webp ive tried to get photos of Mollys bare spots. The only reason I think it is not barbering is that they are more or less, mirror places. The left side of her is not as bad.

Has she seen a vet? I would think it's probably ovarian cysts, unless the vet has already ruled that out.

I agree to get her checked for ovarian cysts. She will also need checking for mange mites too, as she is fuzzy it is difficult to tell if the hairs are broken which would indicate mites. Fungal is also possible.

Hair loss in a female along the sides is supposedly often related to hormonal changes brought on by ovarian cysts. I would see the vet with the aim of being checked for cysts.

Thanks for all the advice, I thought ovarian cysts, because it's on both side, barbering would only have affected. What's the treatment for ovarian cysts. The other thing is her wait isn't stable.

Usually the vet will try Chorulon injections which are spaced a week apart, maximum of three. I've had lots of sows that have had these & they are very successful. Her weight will drop if she is in discomfort.

Sorry to hear Molly is still having problems.

I remembered you posting about her before so I had a look back to refresh my memory. She had enlarged nipples and a puffy vulva back in September from your other thread, what was the vets outcome of that?

From that and now this hair loss I would highly suspect an ovarian issue. Is your vet cavvy savvy?
