Hi all we just got a new piggie today to eventually keep our bereaved girl company

she's been eating and drinking and we haven't had her for long but after holding her i've realised she has a bit of fur missing under her eye and what seems to be a tiny lump i may be overthinking it but we are able to go to the vets on saturday to get her seen i was just wondering if anyone knew what it could be?

I've already been through the heartbreak of my girl ginnie dying and already i'm worrying about this new piggie :( here's a pic to see for yourselves

Your new piggie is beautiful.
Where did she come from and how old is she?

It is hard to tell but it may be something as simple as a scratch or previous injury.
But it could also be some form of skin condition, so taking her to the vets to be checked over is a very good idea.
In the meantime I would just be careful about handling her after you handle your other piggies, and washing your hands well when you are done. If it is a skin condition, you don't want to spread it.
But on the plus side if it is a skin condition, once correctly diagnosed, the treatment is usually quite straightforward and should not have any long term repercussions.
Do let us know how you get on at the vet.
