I've got fuzz an appointment today for her lump near her armpit.Simon said to bring cheese with her and he'll review how she's doing(she's the one with the bad leg). Her leg is no better and she's steadily dropping weight.I'm really worried the lump he felt on her cervix last time I took her might be cancer as she's still eating like a trooper and weeks for food still.I'm dreading the appointment as I know I won't be getting good news.

I hope that there is no bad news! It is always difficult when you are monitoring an issue where there are limits as to what veterinary care can do. Concentrate on sending your two supportive and loving thoughts.

What counts is the time you have with your piggies now - that is something that cannot be taken away from you unless you throw it away yourself letting your fears of tomorrow take over. ;)

Sending supporting thoughts to all of you!

Holding you and Fuzz in my thoughts today @Gem789 Hope everything goes well and it’s nothing serious. Just got back last night from Simon and still a bit tired x

I'm glad to say it wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. Simon can't be sure what fuzzs lump is but as she's still herself I can choose to keep an eye on it or opt for surgery to remove it. I think I'll probably go for the latter. Simon thinks one of cheeses kidneys are bad as it feels really hard.He mentioned the cervical lump again and did say again about spaying but thinks her age and condition would go against her. I'm to carry on as I am with her. He did say to give her more calorie laden vegetables to help with her weight. I know sweetcorn is high in calories, can anyone recommend any more?

Healing wheeks! We like grated sweet potato as a super high calorie veg to bulk up poorly piggies, our vet has recommended it before and it definitely works x

Rose is building her weight up and after forum advice she is on sweet potato! It has become a favourite! The other piggies come and pinch it off her while she recovers from her sore leg!

Aw such a worry, I’ve been giving Ted grated parsnip and carrot as he has been loosing so much weight. So meant to include Cheese, my heads all over the place from yesterday 😟

Grated sweet potato with grated apple and a sprinkling of oats is very popular here! My lot think that just grated sweet potato on it's own is very boring. :)

When we were trying to keep Oreo's weight up (she had lymphoma) we used sweet potato, beetroot, parsnip, and porridge oats.
You are doing an amazing job offering your piggies every chance possible - they are very lucky.

You are doing a great job with your piggies @Gem789 .
Hope Fuzz and Cheese both show signs of improvement.
When Micah needed his weight boosted I mixed some mashed banana into Oxbow Critical Care - he wolfed it down.
He also loved the grated sweet potato & oats
