Fuzz doesn't seem to be herself at the moment. I noticed yesterday that she wasn't as interested in food as she usually is. I've gave her some of cheeses metacam in case she's in any pain etc. She's sitting in the same spot for a long time and doesn't come to the bars when I rustle a bag of veg like she usually does. I was debating taking her to my local vets for pets today but to be honest they're not cavy savvy and i doubt they'd be much help. I'm gonna ring the cat and rabbit clinic tomorrow to see if I can get an appointment Tuesday evening as I'm on a 12 hour tomorrow and doing a 6 hour shift Tuesday.

Hi!

Please switch from weighing weekly to weighing daily at the same time so you can step in with support feed as soon as needed. Keep in mind that hay is generally the first food group that is impacted when a piggy is not well, but you cannot control it by eye.

See a vet sooner if she gets noticeably worse before you can have her seen in Northampton.

Here is our emergency/bridging care link with all the necessary information collected in one place: Emergency, Crisis and Bridging Care until a Vet Appointment

All the best!

Hope you find out what’s wrong with Fuzz and she makes a full recovery. The Cat and Rabbit is definitely the best option x

Hope you can get to the bottom of what is going on. It’s such a worry for us when they can’t tell us.
