We have been putting our pigs in a paddling pool with towels down to give them a run in the evening. They are still quite shy and hide together under a cardboard "tent" we made.
Anyone think of any good play ideas to get them out and about and make it a bit more fun for them? (Cheap/homemade if possible!)

One of my piggies is very shy and he likes to have a chube to hide in when he's 'out in the open'! Maybe get a couple of tubes and put them in so they can run from one to another? I also find that food entices them out so perhaps some of their favourite veggies?

Theres loadsa things you can do

What bout :

Toilet roll tubes with hay in them
Tunnels - can get them from carpet shops or them plastic ones from plumbers (might get them free)
Brown paper bags medium or large can get these free or can buy them from Pampered Piggies
Maybe hide fresh veg around under things or inside chubes
Give them something to climb on too as they enjoy that :smitten: I give mine rocks ;D
Cardboard boxes are good too if the pigs want shade

I've stopped giving toilet roll tubes now as they were getting stuck on the girl's heads (after intially laughing at Rebecca running around with a loo roll on her head (I'm not a bad piggy mother really ;D, I just have a warped sense of humour)) They are probably better if you slit down the sides if you are going to use them just in case, or ask at your local carpet shop as they throw the massive cardboard tubes away and you can usually get them for free
