Garry & Minty in their new home!

Took a few photos this morning once Garry and Minty had moved into their new spacious home. They're not brilliant cos the cage is in front of the window and they wouldn't come out far, but you get the idea!

With the flash on...I forgot...I've probably blinded the pair of them!

Will try and get some better ones tonight. They are now my big pigs cos they've grown so much while I've been away...the cage is so big though that they look tiny! :smitten: :smitten:

I know! He's gone all shy.... Mind you, they've been bouncing around together in there! :smitten:

We love Minty...so far he's been going around hoovering up all the loose bits of hay...so as long as they don't pee or poo in there, we've got it made! :

It is a Nero 4 (from P@H but there you go...) They were in a Nero 2 ('it's OK while they're small, but you'll have to upgrade' - P@H... : ) It's huge - 1.5 times longer than they were used to and wider too...they're like pigs in.... :-X

Anyhow, they seem to like it...good job really cos they're not getting another one!

Ron, seems the pee and poo plan didn't work. A little more training me thinks!


What's the best way to clean the fleece? I got four in the end - £2.99 each. Not bad.

What I do with the fleece is shake it off in the garden then brush up then bung it in the washing machine at 30 degrees.

I have to put the fleece for Pudsey and Eccles through the bars so it sits sort of like a loose trampiline...lol That's because Eccles gets under the fleece.

Ah, I see what you mean! Well, so far they've turned one corner over in their little house so that's where they've decided to pee. Well, mostly! At least that way they won't be sleeping in the wet. They're smarter than we give them credit for!

Love the new cage they look happy in it. Sure I'm wrong but it looks like the plastic is still on that cucumber ;D Could be the light though that makes it look extra shiny!
