He is gorgeous! His belly looks solid which is great if he was a show boy.
He is satin? He does look a bit extra shiny.

On the piccie of his stomach i thought he was a satin too :)
Do you know anything about his genetic background - what his parents were or grand parents ? :D

His tan bits do look very shiny! Black coats are extra shiny no matter the light. BTW Black and Chocolate coats donot show up the satinisation.
I also asked my friend and he said he looks Satin too. I used to own a Satin Chocolate Fox, his belly was a metalic white.

I have no idea what his background is (frustrating for a genealogist, let me tell you!). He was originally a P@H piggy - adopted with Minty by me when they were returned at 12 weeks because the original owners 'could no longer look after them'. Whatever that means... :tickedoff:

I've had so many variations on what he could be...any concrete ideas?! :smitten: :smitten:
 
He is definately a Black Tan. Satin or not I am still undecided.
His tan bit do looks that extra bit shiny, the tan is the only place you will be able to tell.

Is the fur on his belly a lot shinier than any on minty? or does it feel different? id imagine it would if he was satin? he's so cute though either way :smitten:
 
deffo Black Tan, but I don't think Satin. Never say never etc and he could well be but his belly doesn't look satinised to me nor the tan on his face. I'd say he looks a generally younger sleeker pig than Radley anyway (no offence Radley! You just seem to have 'longer' hairs, guard hairs perhaps?)

I will tell him he's a black tan for sure...won't tell him about the possible satin bit...don't want his head to get too big!

Garry will be 22 weeks old on Saturday (born 25th Augustish)...I feel the need for cake! 98)

If your a genalogist does that mean you have studued Genetics? Just interested coz i have applied to do Genetics at the university of Leeds.
