Gavin the skinny pig has been boar dating at Milhaven today, watched over by Joanne, (the expert) and me (the panicker!)

Gavin fell in love at first sniff, with his new buddy...although I think my newbie was at little less impressed to begin with!

After a tense few minutes, lots of sniffing, mounting and generally Gavin being a little so-and-so, the pair have hit it off and I am now proud owner of another boar to add to my growing zoo.

Pigtures?? Well, this is me, so OF COURSE I got the intro on film!

All by myself...don't wanna be, all by myself anymore....

So, hopefully they will continue to get along, William is only 9 weeks old and Gavin is about 10 months. So far, so good! :))

Hope you like the pictures!

William is almost as big as Gavin already! (If not bigger) He is only 9 weeks old and weighs 625g. He's going to be another huge piggy! I seem to have a lot of rather large piggies....rolleyes

He is quite a laid back little guy, but can he run! Especially when I tried to pick him up to weigh! :))

I'm really pleased...just peeked at the boys and they were sharing a plate of veggies! :(|)

Gavin FINALLY has a friend he gets on with! Just goes to show, there is a buddy for EVERY guinea pig out there, sometimes pairings just take a little bit longer.

Another happy ending for a Milhaven piggy! Thank you Jo for all your help and support...Gavin is so happy. :)

Well, they have spent their first night together happily. :)

They have swapped 'beds' with Gavin going into the log cabin and William taking over the pigloo. I put 2 of everything on either side of cage just in case...but they are doing just great!

William did 'leg it' when he saw me this morning (they are in the living room) but I'm hoping with time and patience he will learn to trust me.

I will get some better pigtures when he is a little bit more settled. :(|)

Congratulations! Love Williams markings. Hope this is the start of a wonderful friendship. Looking forward to lots of updates (hint, hint)

I'm pretty sure that you will see lots of pigtures in the coming weeks! :))

William's markings are very 'spotty' he may be a dalmation piggy...? My pics were a little blurred, Gavin just never stays still, but I will get some better ones soon.

Gorgeous William has just been pottering around his cage, munching on hay and eating his dried food. Gavin is making sure he stays in line...I can't wait to get some pics of him! :<>

OMG Your piggies are so flipin cute!xx>>>x) i have never seen a g-pig like yours...omg i want one!what kind of breed is he?kinda reminds me of a hairless cat8;)

Gavin is a skinny pig or hairless piggy. He is just one of 23 piggies that I have, all are gorgeous and all have me wrapped around their tiny paws! :))
