Got up this morning and headed to my bathrrom!

It was then I relised I was not alone! I was been followed.............................................by Sparky!

Somehow during the night he had made a bid for freedom and jumped out of the door of his cage, which I always leave open and he's only been in that cage 4 days and its 2 foot up.

Sorry to ask a silly question but why do you leave the cage door open? Is this safe, especially as the cage is 2ft up.

I thought it was Harry has never once tried jump out and he's been in there for 6 months, Sparky hasn't done it since but he did take a flying leap off the vets table today!

i think to play it safe i would keep the door closed. not only can sparky hurt himself he could also chew cords or get stuck behing a freezer or accidently get stepped on. hoping your vet trip went well. Thanks, he's a little tinker, a right charector and has no sense of danger.

I always block off wires and keep doors shut but I am keeping his door shur as well, they both like to stick their heads out of that door during the day for their heads to be stroked :smitten: :smitten: but at night it stays shut.
