I used to buy the piggies SS but I switched to Wagg Optimum as it worked out cheaper.

They'd been on it since the end of April and all of a sudden they stopped eating it - all 3 of them, still eating loads and loads of hay and the fresh veg & fruit, so I knew they hadn't stopped eating because they were poorly.

Managed to get hold of some SS from The Range but they only stock the trial bags so had to buy a few of them lol, and they've all started nomming it down.

Fussy little blighters rolleyes

That's really odd for all 3 of them to stop eating it all of a sudden. It'd make me wonder if you'd maybe got a stale bag or something like that.

Anyway good news that you were able to get hold of their old fave. They most likely organised a protest to get SS back on the menu! :)

I bought a 15kg bag of Gerty from my local farm shop at a bargain price of just under £14 the other day as P&H Pellets were working out a bit expensive, and I dont drive to P&h were hard to get too. I thought there would be selective feeding with the gerty but my three girls Gaga Boofle and Bee are scoffing the lot down. Tam is taking her time, but is munching it. And Plop and bumble just throw their bowls down the ramp to the bottom bit of their hutch or turn them upside down and sit on them NO bloody pleasing some is there.lol

I wonder whether because it was a big bag it went off or something, we did keep it sealed up as much as we could

Haha wouldn't surprise me.

Lol naughty piggers, my OH kept saying they'll eat it if they realise they're not getting anything else. Not sure he understands piggies minds lol

They certainly like making their feelings known, the little darlings. Good job they've got such kind , caring owners. ;) ;)

No Baily I dont think he does. Mine stare lovingly from their hutches at me while I'm in the kitchen. Lol.
Tam near enough tries to get out of her hutch when I open the door to give her some food.
This gerty food is going down a treat though. And its going to last me an age. So I might put a few pennies aside and get it again. It wont be on offer next time.
