Getting moss a friend

Moss is my guinea pig who lives on his own he is still young around 5 months old .

I was thinking about trying to get him a friend as he is very shy and was think it might help him out .

i will get rescue ones i have room if they dont get on


whats the best way to trying to find a piggy he will get on with?

Hi, glad you're getting Moss a friend, he will definately feel much more confident and happy with a friend to talk to and play with.
The best thing to do is get in touch with your local rescue. Are you near reading? There's a great gp rescue there xx

The best way to ensure he gets a partner he likes is to take him to your local rescue for some boar-dating. This way he gets to choose who he lives with and there is far less chance of them falling out once you get them home.

The rescue will have lots of experience of matching males so will oversee the introduction for you and give lots of advice and support for the rest of their lives.

I live very close to reading my mum lives there and i never knew the was a guinea pig rescue there .

I have been trying to get hold of the lady from the reading rescue place but i cant seem to get hold of her.

Rescue people are usually very busy; just keep on trying!
