So I'm not posting this is the H&I section as I do not think it's a H&I problem.

However, Emma who is at least 5 years old has suddenly started passing gigantic poos! They are perfectly normal looking but just huge compared to Ellen and Edwards poos.

She has recently gained weight (around 80g since September) but I am just wondering if there could be a reason for the increased poo size.

Ellen weighs the same as Emma and Edward a little less but their poos are the same size as each other.

I'm not worried but just curious.

Have you changed pellets at all?

Haha! :)) my friends guinea pigs do tiny poos- I mean tiny like a smidge bigger then a hamsters but my boar Mo and my previous sow have both done -not beating around the bush- massive ones! I still don't understand how my little baby manages it to be honest. As you said, they all look healthy and not misshapen-the only time they were was when he was recovering from antibiotics after having diarrhea as they rehardened. Some days they seem smaller then go back to being big again- not sure if that's because some days he eats more then others?

Pic 1 is of Mo as a baby and his baby poos
Pic 2 is 1 year old Mo with his superhuman poos! Lol

I have a huge sow who has always passed small ones and a boar who always passes what look like huge liquorice comforts or torpedos:drool:

Ouch! I have noticed that unneutered boars pass big poohs and when they have been neutered they get smaller, don't ask me why!

Really? I never knew that.

Edwards poos are smaller than the girls, I think Enochs were too.

May be that's why Emma's look so big compared to his.

When we looked after a friends un neutered boar a couple of years ago, his poos were huge x

It's just what l have noticed, l would be interested to hear if others have observed this too!

my unneutered boars pass large poos!my neutered boars do pass bigger poos than the sows!but not as big as the intact boars.also if there fibre intake is greater the poos are bigger, but i believe boars pass bigger poos!what a subject !:))

As with humans, all piggies are different and will produce different sized poos.
