I posted recently as we lost Barney and I didn't know what to do about getting ginger Ted a new friend, especially as he is very dominant. Following advice I visited windwhistle warren rescue and we tried Ginger with Freddie who is between 3 - 4 years old. To start there was a lot of mounting but over the last week it has calmed. Although they have an odd rumble at each other they often sleep together and seem generally relaxed. I am surprised due to ginger being 15 months and freddie older (and has fathered children) but they seem to be a great match....and Freddie is just so chilled and lovely.
Although I don't want to speak to soon as guessing it is still early days....I'm hopeful its going to be a happy ending.
