my lovely piggie, Elvis, had a very big and exciting day today! He got his girflriend!! Her name is Priscilla. She's named after Elvis Presley's real wife. She's white with brown patches over her eyes and I think she's either satin coated or just the regular smooth coat. I'll post pics soon so stay posted! Also, Elvis keeps rumblestrutting whenever he sees her. I guess that's just normal though, right?

sounds pretty normal :)) I hope Elvis and Priscilla are a match made in heaven and can't wait to see pictures of the happy couple!

OH, hahahaha! I should have mentioned he was neutered. Yeah, I got him from a rescue that pretty much neuters all their boars. Here's the background story on Priscilla. She was a pet store pig that was purchased by a family with small children. I guess the kids were squeezing her or something because she bit them. Because of biting the kids, she was given to the same rescue group I got Elvis at. It turns out, she had severe hip injuries when she arrived at the rescue so those kids must have been doing a bit more than squeezing. No wonder she bit them! When I picked her up she was the sweetest little thing... Poor pig.

Here she issss! these aren't very flattering but she's still so young and just won't stay still...

Today, I was attempting to pick up Priscilla. She's soooo antsy but I think she'll mellow into a nice lap piggy as she ages. Anyways, she was running away from me like I was a guinea pig serial killer, as was expected, and then the strangest thing happened. She *jumped* into my hand. She literally hopped into my arms. My face was legitimately like @). Does anyone else's piggy do this? I'm kinda freaked out right now. @)

That's beautiful. Perhaps she was startled by something else and decided you were the best place to be. I hope she continues to see you as the 'safe' place. Treasure the moment, it may not happen again!

aww bless she can't be that afraid anymore! my little fella jumps at my face which is kinda startling to say the least lol
