Going back to fleece!

My poor boys have been on hay and newspaper bedding since August. Fleece was far too time consuming and most of it was hairy beyond belief, I could not dehair it...It was starting to wear, too...I gave up and went back to basics.

However, now I have a bit more money! I went and ordered 2 fleeces from Hammocky Hammocks, along with an Oval Bed

I'm so excited! Hay and newspaper feels so cold! I can't wait to have warm, fuzzy fleece back! I'm hoping my boys will mark the occassion with some popcorning...But we'll see rolleyes

It could be a while. I love HH but it's a loooong wait for these things! Well and truly worth it, though!

if you struggled with fleece why dont you try vet bed? i find its a lot easier to clean compared to fleece x

How is vetbed Claire? Is it hard to dry? and do you use anything under it? What about de-pooping and de-hairing? lol x

I use vet bed and fleece, I put puppy pads and towels underneath, it has to be changed every over day (4 girls produce an awful lot of pee). I prefer the vet bed it seems cosier and it can be tumbled dried if necessary, as for de-pooping etc just shake it out and then run the hoover over it.

I have never used anything else but hay and newspaper before however the birth of 2 underweight babies made me rethink things a little, I am learning sooo much from this forum!

use same as the above post said, post 5 ,,,, but i find its fab really easy hoover off and i put it into a pillowcase when washing it...

its fab though stays bone dry too x

so you still have to use towels underneath it? hmmm. Might aswell stick to fleece then! lol x
