some of you may remember that my pigs orat least one of them were making strangely shaped softish poops. I was advised to reduce their veg intake and change what veg i give them

I'm very glad to report that after 5 days of new diet: breakfast = readigrass, dinner = 1 small portion of lettuce/green beans... things are nearly back to normal. Poops are back to normal, butr most importantly their coats are luscious, soft/fluffy, shinny and huggably scrumptious.

They're not happy bunnies about the reduction in food but as they look all the better for it, I'm going to keep it that way.

i took them out tonight for a cuddle and their coat was so nice they stayed a long time, purring and chirping away... the other advantage being that they have a smaller intake of fluid so no onw had an accident...
Their coat (esp Finlay's) was greasy and sticky, full of dandruffs and quite scruffy... now it's smooth and shiny, detangled and just ooooohhhhdrool

still going strong on the new diet... drool drool drool

Yay, good news...not for them obviously :)). Glad they are better for it though.

that's a good idea, now that I have found the charger for my camera... well, Oliver did, really, rummaging through my school stuff.... :{:{:{

yes, they still et a dishful of pellets and a dishful of muesli plus their hay and a smaller portion of veg at night.

I'll take some pics on Thursday, on my day off...
