I wasn’t sure whether to post this in the health and illness section or here...
I was wondering if anyone had an experience with this stuff, I’m wary of it because Smudge passed not that long after we started giving it to them, and I’m going to put it frankly, it smells absolutely disgusting.

Yea it smells like poo, I use it on sick guinea pigs. Dot loves it so much that she wont give the syringe back, I put it in her drink bottle because i know she loves it

Right i must go and clean out the pigs. Just got back from a 17 hour shift at the millenium dome ( 02 centre)

Anybody else with experience with this?

Yep I have used it an hour or so after antibiotics. I put a pinch in a small amount of water and syringe it. It helps to replace gut flora and keep poops normal a during and after a course of antibiotics. It's good stuff if you are a piggy. Smells 'orrible though.

I expect it was just coincidence that Smudge toddled off to the rainbow bridge after you gave it to him.
