Thank you again for all your lovely kind words...Truly wonderful place here...

Goddard Veterianary Group in Ewell sent us this card today ... which made me choke up a bit ... I can’t recommend that place enough if you want your piggies looked at, very professional and very compassionate.....

So sorry for your loss, Cookie looked like quiet a character. Pop corn free little piggy.xx

Oh yes she was indeed ! Looking back at all her videos and pics these past few days ... she was such a cheeky one, sometimes like to boss others around and grumpy ... but even then she manages to look cute !

I’m so sorry for your loss. Another star shines over the Rainbow Bridge. Popcorn free Cookie. Hugs x

Thank you ! Still miss her dearly, my other piggies pine for her too...

Piggies are such social creatures. They feel love and loss like we do. I still well up when talking about some of my beloved piggies who have passed to the Rainbow Bridge. I think it’s natural. It shows how much we cared about them.

They certainly do, I think we really have a soft spot in our hearts for them because they are so small and innocent ... and full of character too, plenty of love and attention but they are so adorable you would happily do it forever ... there’s a pic of cookie during last week of her illness that still makes me shed a tear (even a ‘tough’ man like me lol ) it was dispute the heartbreaking illness she was going through she still managed to smile and try to eat, such a brave little princess x

I know it’s hard, but try to remember her at her finest, most glorious best and not as she was at the end. Some piggies burrow into your heart and leave a huge hole when they go. You clearly had a special bond.

What a lovely fur ball and what wonderful and happy pictures to remember her by!

Please try to concentrate on all the wonderful moments you have shared. If you wish, start a diary to write down all your memories, the little ones and the big ones as they come to your mind. The end can be traumatic, but it is only a relatively short period and should in the long term not overshadow all the happy years.

You have done your best for her and spared her any further suffering; sometimes it is the only, but the most precious and most loving gift that we have left to give. When you have never experienced death before, it can shock you in its physicality. it is sadly only very rarely the peaceful drifting away in the sleep that we conventionally expect. :(
