Goodbye sweet little Rosie

Rosie sadly passed away yesterday, I'm still in shock. Rosie was spayed at the C&R in January because she had cystic overies, from then on she had a new lease of life she put on weight, was 1130g at weigh in last Monday, she was popcorning, running around and totally enjoying life, wonderful for a four year old little lady. Then yesterday morning she was a bit off her food but still eating just not as much. I made a vets appointment at our local vets just about to get her carry case out and she collapsed and passed away within seconds, we took her to the vets to see what happened - they were so kind, they said it could have been her heart.

Rosie will be pop-Corning with the others over the bridge and knows how loved she was 🌈 rest in peace beautiful girl.

You just never know which pig will go any day. With my past animals , it's the ones that seems to scrape through life with illnesses that seem to keep going forever, and the ones that seem so fit and healthy just suddenly go. Thank you, it was such a shock, Rosie was doing so well.
Unlike Abigail who bless her has had one thing after another, Simon took lumps of her tummy in January, then she had bloat a little while back, then she had to have a lump taken off the side of her face on the 27th May, but she doing well now. x

I'm so sorry for your heartbreaking loss of Rosie, I know the pain is unbearable right now and I can't even find words to express how sad I feel for you and your precious Rosie. 😢. Rosie, May you be popcorning happily beyond the rainbow 🌈 bridge sweet girl.

I am so sad to read this. Its never the right time for much loved piggies to leave us and there will be a horrible emptiness in your heart. Rosie knew she was loved and will take that with her to the rainbow bridge. Sending hugs and be kind to yourself as you grieve. RIP beautiful Rosie x
 
Sorry to hear about Rosie, you gave her a lovely new lease of life by the sound of it and then this, very sad x

I’m so sorry you have lost little Rosie, you must be so shocked and heartbroken, sending you big hugs. Try remember in your grief that you gave her the very best life, full of love and happiness x
