Goodbye Teddy

Yesterday we said goodbye to Teddy, my beautiful blonde angel.

He was the most confident, sassiest and greediest guineapig I've ever owned. He was a keen rumblestrutter and loved bucking and shoving everything out of his way and never hesitated to bite people or steal food. His prize moment was the time he frightened my mum's Labrador by charging at him.

He softened as he got older, becoming a much soppier pig who loved cuddles and ear scratches. However he remained a busy body, irritating his cage mate Wally, watching you move around the room and investigating what you're up to every time you poop scooped, often tipping the collected poops over himself.

He got sick following the passing of his brother Heathcliffe, but lived for another good year whilst we managed his chronic gut issues. Unfortunately he lost his battle with his condition yesterday, having fought back from the brink many times.

Rip to the sassiest, strongest and softest pig I've known - you are so loved and so missed.
