today has been a very sad day.Little dolly the most special girl at the rescue sadly passed away this morning.Dolly was a lethal and was deaf and blind.she was so sweet and even acted as a midwife and delivered some babys when she was in with a mummy pig.she had the sweetest nature and was so friendly and gentle.we will miss you little girl sleap well little one we were so lucky to know you even for such a short time 8...8...8...8...8...:...

thanks so much claire i know you had a special place for dolly tot(oh gosh now I'm crying!)
she was so so special and i know you realy appreciated her gentle little soul.She was so giving and caring and it is so sad
 
i'm crying too. but please feel a bit better by knowing she had the best love from you and such a strong bond of friendship with me and others on here.

she was so smart and taught me so much.she had a amazing sense of smell and would wheeeeeek at the smell of me even if i was down the drive way.the others go off at the sound of a plastic bag but ignore me otherwise,not little dolly tot she would smell me and start shrieking.
i let her out on warm days on the lawn as you could just walk over and pick her up.she went 'missing ' one day and we found her after much worry she had gone into the pig shed and was asleap in a little nest she had made in a hay bale lol such a sweet heart she was "aunty" to all the little ones and loved the mini pigs as her own
 
she warmed my heart every time i heard her name, so sweet i suggested the name dolly, and nicknamed her dolly-tot as she was so little and kind natured. throughout all her problems, she was such a happy little soul and helped others in need, just like her "sister" and "nieces and nephews"

RIP Little Dolly Tot, even though I was never lucky enough to meet you, you will always be in my heart and I will always wonder what guinea pigs and other small furries you have befriended up on the bridge, I really hope you find more friends to help and that when my piggies pass on, they find you and get to know one of the other little piggies that took their mommy's heart.

I loved the little sweetheart, she really pulled at my heart strings.
She reminded me so much of my boy Sleepy who was also deaf and blind.8... 8... 8... R.I.P. Dolly sweet angel, find my Sleepy at the Rainbow Bridge to keep you safe and warm forever :)
 
thanks so much to everyone i can not read all your kind words without crying! i think it is so befitting all your touching words that realy do describe the enormous soul little dolly had.She was like a little war time nurse in my eyes as she would tend to the ill and lick my cats eyes when he had a blocked tear duct.I always knew we were lucky for any time we would have with the little girl since she was born but it is so sad not to see the little girl every time i pass her special cage.I cant rearrange it because I'm worried she would not know her way around.:( :(
 
Oh hun, I am so, so, SO sorry to hear that you have lost dear, sweet little Dolly. :0 :0 :0 It is overwhelming the size of the hole they leave in your heart when they go to the Bridge. :0 I am sure she will meet up with my lovely Mavis who went to the Bridge yesterday, and they will be friends and have great fun together. x)

well i believe she probably had been.being a lethal she actually was infertile so to have such a strong motherly bond and to know to deliver the babies and remove their sacs and clean them is incredible
