Hi!

Looking for a little advice on shampoo... I've not bathed any of my piggies as yet, and was wondering what the best gorgeous guineas shampoo is? Just normal shampoo, they don't have any skin conditions that require special treatment etc.

I've seen that they do one just for boars so I was thinking of getting that one (I assume it makes the boys smell less boyish?) but then I will need one for the girlies too.

Thanks! :)p

I use the manuka and neem as my regular one as a preventative measure if nothing else and it is the only one i have

I also use the manuka and neem shampoo for the same reason, but i heard that the just for boars is really good and the ones for the girls. :))

Personal favourite here is the EasiRinse, definitely. Makes for a wonderful bathing experience!

I use the posh n' go for my long haired sheltie and the Lemon tea tree and lavender one for the rest of my boys, it doesn't smell girlie just nice and fresh.

Well I have manuka and neem, Posh and Go for the sheltie and also have lice and easy, as well as the posh/perfect paws lotion for guinea feets (feets said in a real high voice) and the lavender and myrhh lotion, this little collection was bought over a couple of months to combat different problems with different pigs.

For general use I use the manuka and neem, just because I have it in, and as mentioned earlier the Posh and Go for the sheltie, it makes his coat lovely and soft and manageable, and easier to groom for a week or 2 afterwards. I love all the gg products.

I've also found i don't get as bad allergic reactions from handling my pigs after they've had their baths, whereas I used the beapher one and my eczema came out something terrible after using it.

After much deliberation, I bought the Christmas version of the easi-rinse. Haven't used it yet so will let you know how it goes in due course! My 4 pigs are shorthaired and no skin probs.

Cheers
Alex
