My mother in laws next door neighbour wanted to get rid of there rabbit stuff so offered it to us. They had a hutch, big bag of rabbit food, hay. sawdust and what we thought was a little bit of straw i was going to give to my friend at work. :(|)

Well this is what he bought over.

I was a bit shocked about the amount of straw lol so not too sure what i am going to do with that but the plastic container will come in handy once its had a good clean out. I was very shocked that a dwaft bunny was living in the hutch. Its about 2 ft long and a mess. It did have a run as well. Any way we are going to take the door off and make a ramp up to it and put it in our run area we are making for the piggies.

Oooohhh! My! What alot of straw lol! What a good idea, the hutch will make a great hide out for the summer, our local petshop is selling tiny hutches half price atm and was thinking of getting one for the boys run too. The storage box will come in handy :)

Might donate the straw and rabbit food to the RSPCA if my friend doesnt want it. I hope i can find a home for it lol May use the plastic container to store a bale of hay in.

Good luck with finding the straw a home hehe! You could also store any spare toys, and sawdust etc in the container for the piggles. :)

That's great :) It's lovely getting extra stuff for your animals for free :)

Poor bunny in that little hutch, but at least it had a run too.

And hopefully the straw gets a good new home :))

I know thats what i thought about the poor little bunny. They only bought the straw last week as well.

Not too sure if there any local horse rescue close by :(

xx

Not sure exactly where in Oxon you are, but the Blue Cross horse rescue is in Burford and could use the straw I am sure :)

Or your local Riding for the Disabled centre may welcome it, as they rely on donations and don't get any government funding :)
