we had finally come to the decision that after xmas we would start looking for soome new piggies (following the demise of Rosie and Lotta 
)
well today we wen into Pets at home to get some dog food and a couple of water snails for my father inlaws fish tank (!). we always have a look in the 'rehoming/adoption centre' and today they had a whole litter of 5 piggies ! I asked the lady why they were there as they were so tiny and she said it was because a lady handed them into them, they couldnt 'sell' them instore as they hadnt come from a liscensed breeder.
well we then choose 2 and the assistant called the manager to 'interview' us. I must say i was so impressed. she asked us so many questions and nearly didnt let us have them as she wanted to see a picture of the cage. I explained its a 3ftx5ft C&C cage, we also now have made a mesh lid for protection. she asked us questions about virtually everything to do with GPs and seemed to generally care about what homes they went to.
