This month is Twinkle's turn. I got Twinkle from Pets at Home on the 4th July 2007. Of course it's the usual story you go in not really looking for a pig but then you see one that you can't say no too! All I saw was this spikey haired little thing looking up at me and I just had to have him!

I paired him up with Sunshine and they lived happily for months until the teenage stage kicked in and they had to be seperated. They now live apart but next to one another and he has really calmed down. Twinkle now lets me stroke him although we are still working on him allowing us to pick hm up! But he is turning into such a lovely boy and deserves to be GPOTM because since we got him he has gone from being a little gremlin to a friendly little thing who is always happy to see you. :smitten:

:smitten: Please vote for Smoke :smitten:

Hes not the best looking piggy but he sure makes up with his love he has for me
Hes very docile and gentle too and although i havent had him for years i knew he had a loving personality as soon as i saw him and fell in love with his unique
:D bad boy look that he has :D
Ive had no problems whatsoever with this little lad and hes great with other boars too and unfortunately he lost one of his cage mates and he cuddles up to SkyDust for company now
I'm soo glad i seen Smoke and his brother/friend in time as I'm sure he would of been snatched up by someone else who would of bred from him cause of his
;D beautifulness <<< sorry but is that a word ;D

He sure looks naughty but hes the total opposite

Smoke is a black roan rex boar

Patty.jpg

Nominating Patty one of my Andrew sisters had her since last summer from another forum member she is quite the mumsy with Bing and Laverne and Maxene quite confident when out in the run
And she's purty too! ;D

My little girl Amy........... got her yesterday and since then she has been so affectionate and just love's being cuddled. She's so fluffy and soft I just don't want to put her down. She is very tiny and looks like a little fur ball. My other piggies are all hyper but she is just so sweet. She is going to make me and my children very happy as she sits still long enough for my toddler to actually get a clap. Please make her Guinea Pig of the Month, you'd make me and her very happy.

Right here is Odd..Shes not the most elegant of Piggy's .Infact to be honest The only thing that matters in Odds life is FOOD. Your food, my food - the other Piggy's food! Shes a big softy and really as much as i love her, her personality is that shes GREEDY AND LAZY! But shes mine and I def Would never want to be without her and that's why shes my avatar ...lmao

Aw, ILA Smoke is gorgeous! And Amy too, and Odd looks like a naughty girl!

I'm not going to nominate any of my pigs this month, I think there are too many to chose from as it is! Although if Roly comes through his surgery this Thurs then I might put him forward, but he is very shy! He looks a bit like your Patty Ron, although not as pretty!

I'm not nominating any of mine either, i love them all but none deserve it this month really, they're all well and happy (touch wood) apart from Ralfie who won last month :) x

lol I'm not nominating mine either, they havent been through much really apart from bit of fungal and mites (usual suspects) and of course loosing Cookie :'( :smitten:

i think its a jinx for me this comp ;D

good luck to all the piggies :smitten:

I used to think that, a lot of the pigs that won died :( thats why i was worried about nominating Ralf! x

me and debbie was discussing this earlier and noticed it :( its a jinx for me anyway ::)

It will just be a coincidence or like debbie suggested its because many pigs nominated are already ill :-\

I'd like to nominate Wilf :D

wilfandarchie027.jpg

Wilf came to me a couple of weeks ago and he is the most loving piggy I have ever met. From the first day we got him he was tame already, happy to be picked up and stroked. He came during a time where at the moment I am back and forth to hospital, because of some problems I'm having at the moment, and he really has helped me struggle on through, to have to go out there every day and bring him in for floortime has made me actually get up and ready during the days so I really think he is a wonderpig :smitten: :smitten:

Some very beautiful piggies so far, it is going to be hard to choose :D

I's like to nominate Lois - 6 Year old sow :smitten:

Ive had lois since she was 1 year old, before that she belonged to my sister who had decided to sell them but her two lived with mine so bought them off her so mine wouldnt become depressed and lonely, at 6 years old shes had/got her problems, she had an operation not long ago which she has recovered well from and had now other problems which cant be cured without yet more surgery, which she isnt having shes too old.

In february she lost her cage mate Meeka so lives on her own in my room above the boys until the weather warms up and she can go back out with my other girls in the shed :)

She's still very much young at heart, running around in her cage at 100mph, eats for england, loves a cuddle, and melts your hearts with her 'piggy smile' :smitten:

:smitten: :smitten: she is beautiful and has similar colouring to my Larry :smitten:

HI
I'd like to nominate Mimi 0:) as you may know she had to be pts a few weeks ago :'( :'( :'(
she was such a special and darling piggie and my heart is absoloutely broken. She was such a brave girl and faught for me to the end. :'(
she endured 5 nights (not all at once) at the vets on a drip and having alsorts of injections and syringed food and every time she came home i just thought she'd start to get better but after a week and a few days of in and out of the vets, intensive care and lots of medicine she was no better just getting worse and i had to make the hardest decision in my life :'( :'( :'( as i'm writing this the tears are rolling as they still do many days, i miss her so much she was such a dear friend and baby :'( :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
she was so popcorny when she was alive and well so full of life and joy, she'd stretch out on me at cuddle time and relax so much and snuggle up to pansy. She's so sorely missed i hurt so much inside, it would just mean a lot if my last memory of her could be this not the unbearable last cuddle with her :'( :'( :-* :-* :-* :smitten: :smitten: RIP MIMI 0:) i love you :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :-*

Here she is :smitten:

Well Mimi has done it for me!

I would like to nominate my new boy Harry, from Wood Green - a 4 year old neutered boy with a cyst and a dodgy eye, but he's such a friendly chap and has already settled with his new girlfriends (he's neutered!):

But to be honest, I'll vote for Mimi! :smitten:

Hiya

Apologies if my picture isn't showing below but there should be a link...fingers crossed this works

This baby piggy is called Gizmo and although I believe both our piggies (also have Tilly) are very cute, we are only supposed to enter one...maybe Tilly can appear next month

Gizmo is a little ginger and white Abbysinian and loves cucumber and dandelion leaves. She is very interested in human activity (but not if it means being stroked or picked up), eating, popcorning and wishes for world peace

We have only had her 6 weeks or so and this is our first piggy experience so any advice is greatly appreciated 0:)

I must admit there are some very cute piggies out there...best of luck to all who enter ;D

Aww they are all gorgeous. I agree with Fi it will be hard this month! Izzy Mimi was gorgeous. I feel bad for putting Twinks up now he's such a naughty boy...lol ;D
