Grass ball Dissapering

Yetserday i got my piggies a large grass ball from pets at home, on it it said it was suitable for rats and some other small animals but it didnt say guinea pig, i bought it anyway but my piggies arnt going through it they are just chewing it and there is like half of it left no lol. I'm sure some other people have the grass balls ? if you do has it happend to you ?

I have two types.

One is just rolled tightly into a ball and the other is loosely encircled by a straw twine. If there is lose grass or hay about my guineas won't touch the balls...too much work I suppose....but when there are only the balls they will eat them.

my pigs rabbits and degus love the grass balls and they dont last long at all
