I only let them have it for 5 minutes or so, worried they might not be able to decide when their bellies had enough :) I hope to be able to give them a little chew every day until summer! I have several trays going :)

This narrow container worked really well because they didn't jump up in it and squash it all!

that's GREAT! i can't wait until my grass grows! my brother said it starts growing on the 5th day and I'm on the 3rd day. CAN'T WAIT! glad the piggies like it!

Petra this is awesome!!!
What a great idea in the narrow containers, smart thinking girl x)
Oh aren't they gorgeous tucking into their grass :):):)

aahh! that's so cute. i am thinking about growing grass for my piggies.

This is regular grass. I have oat wheat and this, which is some kind of timothy according to the package. Oat and wheat grow so much faster, and the piggies seem to prefer it to this softer type of grass.

I've let them eat the grass down, but remove it when it's got at least 3 cm left because I think it will regrow better if there is more of it to absorb whatever little light is served here in Sweden..
