Gravity Bin Feeder ?

Can anyone please explain to me what a gravity bin feeder is ? i've seen a few of them in my local pet shop, and i've seen a few people that have them etc.
Sorry if I'm being really dumb or something, but i just wanna know what they do mallethead

Ok I'll start my explanation again!

You fill the thing with food, including the large tower bit. As the animal eats the food from the bowl part (which then empties), more food from the tower bit drops down into the bowl.

It's not something I'm particularly fond of, as I imagine it makes it difficult to know how much your piggies are eating. Also mine don't eat that kind of amount of dry food anyway, a normal size bowl lasts them about 3 days!

I wouldnt recommend it for pellets. I dont think thye should be overfed on pellets/mix. But its an idea for hay.
