Greta is acting strange

I havent been able to get her to a vet yet. I think I might have to wait until I get paid. Also the PDSA wont support me even though I am a student. All the criteria that I need to meet, I dont. To be honest being a poor student just isnt enough.
Also I want to add before someone mentions. The only reason I cant afford to go to the vet at the moment is that I've just recently paid out £250 for my previous pig who passed away. My manager has decided to cut my hours and my parents are at logger heads so I have to live with my boyfriend and pay rent.

Anyway Greta hasnt had another turn. Shes been fine and eating and drinking as normal. Shes been out with her pal in the run and I kept a very close eye on them and nothing.
To be honest I petrified of taking her to a vet that has no clue and starts fiddling and making things worse. But rest assured I will be taking her to the vet. I dont know why but i just have the feeling they are going to give me 0.2 baytril and say "she how she goes on that".

Its my birthday tomorrow though so maybe I'll get some money for it and then I can take her.

Thanks for you help and concern everyone. If you read about Iris then you'll understand about the pessimistic attitude. I just miss her and I dont want to lose Greta. :) :)p

I can understand that! All the best for Greta, and hopefully, she recovers with rest and tlc!

Will pm you tomorrow!

Unless you are sure beyond all reasonable doubt that a vet can diagnose the problem accurately and prescribe appropriate treatment I would watch and wait.
If it has been a "one off turn" you have nothing to lose by just observing her for a little while longer. No-one could critcise you for that, I will probably get the criticism, not you!

Laura, I really do sympathies with you on the money side of things as I have been there. There is no reason why anyone should criticise you. You are doing the very best for your girl and if she hasn't had another turn, I don't see any reason why you should need to rush her off to a vet. Just keep a close eye on her and take her if needed xx
