My boys are about 18 months now, I was just thinking to myself that I haven’t really ever seen them cleaning themselves. I’ve very occasionally seen Jed licking a very small area on his side. Neither of them are dirty or smelly etc.
Does anyone know do they tend to do this in “private”, where I can’t see them?

They will be doing it when you aren’t there. I rarely see my two groom, but I know they do it as they are tidy and clean

A always see all my piggies grooming , themselves and eachother , but i do have a piggie who doesn't seem to clean himself much ( he's a shelti ) and so i have to give him a little clean with a damp cloth .
Like @Piggies&buns said , they will do it when you are not there.
