Hello friends!
I sent a post a while ago about my long haired piggy nutmeg and her matted fur. I have tried everything!the dr at the back of her bum is started to be pulled out when she gets caught on toys and I can imagine it pains her. I've tried to brush the clumps out and she won't let me and the bath doesn't do anything either! Any advice?

If it is now too matted to brush them out, then they will need to be cut out carefully (cutting the hair can at the skin if it is too tight also so you may need a vet nurse to help).
I have a long haired boy and I make sure to keep the hair around his back end and legs always cut short and never dragging on the ground as its much easier to cut it short than it is to brush it
