Great idea... sounded easy. . Grow wheatgrass while I'm trying to get my lawn in some sort of order... less weeds more grass... or just some would be nice! Bought 8 trays of the stuff from zooplus. ... didn't think it wouldn't work. Shoots are growing but it stinks! Think I've over watered it and poss got mould? ? Has anyone had success and can you advise in very simple terms from the start as my kit has wheatgrass oats and barley in... looking at the u tube vids on just wheatgrass they get a good few days soaking... but am I doing wrong doing that with these kits ... it just says water moderate. ..but soaking them loads first seems to bring on the shoots and roots but is that why I've got mould? Help anyone I really don't want to ruin the other 7 trays

ehhh... you sometimes need many attempts... it is a grat idea to read, study and watch video on Youtube, but a failure can depend on the temperature, the presence of the sun or the quality of the soil (you know, my Nan, a farmer, used to plant seeds following certain lunar months and she was sure it was the key of a good growth of her vegs!). My advice for you is to try again, but don't waste your money in Zooplus! seeds are available in garden centres; you can buy a lot of guaranteed and different seeds and you can plant different quality of grass.
