GRRRR my kids and the piggies....

needed a rant...My "wonderful" kids and i had the piggies out last night. My son put them away as me and my daughter were covered in lovely boar wee..and i went upstairs to get us changed.
Checked on them last night briefly as i always do, and topped up water etc.. Then this morning i got a shock! Went to get them out and put them in the run and Stevie has phoenix AND TRAVIS in his hutch! All lying together asleep! It could have been much worse!
I have now put travis back with comanche and he seems fine. I would normally never allow kids to put them away.. and DEF will not be doing so again! x
 
awww,you sound stressed
i would advise giving travis a bath to get the other boars scent off him,and if it happens again bath him before he goes back in with the other boar to prevent fights x
 
I was going to bath him, but thought would just try first as the water hasnt been heated, and they cuddled up and went to sleep together. Put water on now, to bath him, making me even hotter as the blooming heating comes on at same time and its a boiling day anyway..arghhhhh lol x

if possible i would bathe both the boys so they can both have fresh neutral scents xx
 
i will do.. might do it in the garden while the sun is out x
I am amazed they were all asleep together! seemed a shame to split..:) think del wouldnt apreciate another lol x
Had been wanting to get them into groups 2 groups of 3 instead of 3 groups of 2, but decided against it.. maybe...lol.. no i have.. i really couldnt risk any more single boars x

yeah thats true,but i could still happen even in pairs,so crossing my fingers that your boys behave,it would be lovely for my 6 to meet your 6 well at least we would think so I'm sure it would be a brawl lol
